Here’s a more polished and cohesive version: The Adventure Coordinator oversees the adventure staff, who work in teams of two or alongside a General Counselor to lead adventure-based programs for campers ages 10 and up. Adventure Counselors facilitate several specialty programs, including Nocturnal Camp, Explorers Camp, Kiwanis Camp, and multi-day Adventure Trips. Nocturnal Camp counselors stay overnight with campers, leading engaging nighttime activities such as stargazing, glow-in-the-dark archery, and watching the sunrise together. Explorers Camp focuses on building outdoor living skills and helping campers gain confidence and independence in nature. Kiwanis Camp is a water-based experience that includes a sailing excursion where campers learn the fundamentals of sailing. Adventure Trips take campers off-site for 3–4 days at a time and may include backpacking, camping, hiking, and rafting. All rafting activities are led by a professional instructor. During sessions when no adventure trips are scheduled, Adventure Counselors may step into General Counselor roles to support the broader camp program as needed.
