What You’ll Do As a Bell Desk Staff you’ll play an essential role in providing a great first impression and setting the table for guests to have a remarkable stay. Your responsibilities will include: Escort incoming hotel guests to rooms, assists with hand luggage , and offer information pertaining to available services and facilities of Resort, local points of interest, and events. Explain features of room such as the operation of television, safe, locks, and how to place telephone calls. Transfer guest luggage , trunks, packages, and other baggage to guest room or loading area. Arrange for outgoing freight , express or mail shipments, computes charges, tags article, and records information, such as addressee, addressor, carrier, and charges, on specified forms. Supply guests with travel information such as transportation rates, routes, and schedules. Greet arriving and departing guests and answer inquiries or direct to proper person. Inspect guest room to ensure furnishings are in order and supplies are adequate. Deliver messages and run errands ; deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks. Park guest vehicles in Valet lot.
