About This Role

Oversee the day-to-day operations of ROW’s bicycle and e-bike tours in both North Idaho and Washington’s Olympic Peninsula.  Lead ROW’s team of guides in meeting the goal of providing high quality multi-day trips by ensuring that standard policies and procedures are followed.  Responsible for supporting and supervising all aspects of domestic bike tours in the Northwest during the busy summer season.  This includes logistical concerns, equipment, supplies, transportation, clerical, guide coordination, communication with office staff and Director of Operations, etc. The position requires the orchestration of trips to and from the trail, assuring that they flow safely and efficiently, while minimizing stress on guides and team leaders. Employment Status: This is a seasonal full-time, partial-salaried position. Exact start and ending dates will depend on bookings and trip launches Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID/ Spokane, WA (or nearby) Description: This is a seasonal, full time, hybrid salaried/ daily wage position based in Coeur d’Alene, ID and runs from approximately early May through mid September.  It is expected that this person will lead three out of every four trips.  During the rotation off of the trail, it is expected equipment maintenance and repair, paperwork and other “catch up” would occur.  For a first-season Bike Tours manager, we require a minimum of two weekdays at the ROW office in Coeur d’Alene for training and orientation prior to the beginning of the season.  (Depending on the experience of the applicant, more than two days may be required.) Attendance at ROW’s Manager Training held in early May is mandatory. Attendance at ROW’s Staff Trip held in early May is mandatory. General Expectations of Managers: ROW Managers serve as role models for guides in a number of ways, including the following: prioritizing safety; exhibiting a positive attitude and good work ethic; willingness to resolve conflicts whether between themselves and other guides or manager
