Coffee Shop/Cafe Manager (Free housing, Salary +tips)

Sevier Coffee Co. — Coffee Shop Manager Location: Hatch, UT Position: Full-time (some evenings/weekends; on-call for emergencies) About Us Sevier Coffee Co. is a community-focused specialty coffee shop in Hatch, Utah, dedicated to great coffee, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on manager to lead day-to-day operations and work closely with our Director of Operations on strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily café operations to ensure consistent product quality and excellent customer service. Work directly with the Director of Operations on strategic planning, store performance, and growth initiatives. Create, manage, and maintain weekly and monthly staff schedules; ensure shift coverage and handle shift changes. Place and track inventory orders (coffee, milk, food, supplies); manage vendor relationships and maintain par levels. Train, coach, and develop baristas and support staff; conduct performance feedback and hiring as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe store environment; enforce health and safety standards. Manage cash handling, daily reconciliations, and basic financial recordkeeping. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Be on-call for emergency situations (staffing shortages, equipment failures, urgent supply issues) and respond as needed. Assist with local marketing, community outreach, and event execution as required. Qualifications 2+ years management or lead supervisory experience in a busy coffee shop, cafe, or foodservice environment. Strong scheduling, inventory, and ordering experience. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-service skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and be available on-call. Familiarity with POS systems, basic financial tasks, and vendor ordering. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one. Reliable transportation to Hatch, UT.
