Dishwasher/ Prep Cook

We are seeking a dedicated person to join our kitchen team. As a dishwasher and prep-cook, you will play a vital role in the operation of our restaurant. cleaning dishes and preparing a variety of menu items, ensuring quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities: Washing dishes: Clean the dishes and follow all sanitation and safety protocols, in a timely manner, to maintain readily available clean dishes. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations. Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate kitchen equipment, ensuring it is cleaned and maintained properly. Food Preparation: Wash, chop, and marinate ingredients as needed for various menu items. Ensure all prepped items are labeled, dated, and initialized. maintaining proper food safety. Menu Adherence: Follow the menu and recipe book at the prep station to ensure consistency and quality. Inventory: Assist in food inventory, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock to minimize waste. Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and timely service. Guided Lunches: Check for tickets at the prep station for guided lunches. Attendance: Maintain a positive attendance record by reporting for assigned shifts on time. Prep List Communication: Accurately prepare and communicate the prep list between AM & PM shifts. Side Work Duties: Perform assigned side work duties satisfactorily. End-of-Shift Procedures: Follow all end-of-shift checkout procedures. Team Environment: Foster a positive team environment by assisting other team members as needed. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of food preparation is preferred. (not required) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
