Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Fishing Guide to provide exceptional angling experiences for both our club members and the public. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about local waters, fishing techniques, and safety practices, and is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for guests of all skill levels. Key Responsibilities Plan, lead, and guide fishing trips for club members and public clients, ensuring safety and enjoyment at all times Provide expert instruction on fishing techniques, tackle, bait, and equipment use Share knowledge of local waterways, wildlife, and environmental conservation practices Prepare boats, equipment, and supplies for daily trips, including safety checks and maintenance Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization on all vessels and equipment Assist guests in learning and improving fishing skills, from beginners to experienced anglers Respond to guest needs and requests professionally and promptly Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal fishing regulations and safety protocols Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and club engagement Qualifications Proven experience as a fishing guide or in a similar outdoor recreation role Strong knowledge of local fish species, habitats, and fishing techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to safely operate boats and fishing equipment in various weather conditions CPR/First Aid certification preferred Passion for outdoor education, environmental stewardship, and guest experience Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and seasonal demands Ability to lift and carry equipment and handle physically demanding tasks
