General Property Maintenance

The General Property Maintenance position performs preventative maintenance and repair work around the Ticaboo Lodge and other North Lake Powell owned and operated properties and facilities. General home and property maintenance experience is required, vehicle and diesel power generating systems would be a plus. Most General Property Maintenance positions are seasonal roles that will end around October 31st, but a year-round position may be available for an experienced, well-rounded candidate. Responsibilities Maintenance and repairs of company owned properties, buildings, and vehicles as directed. Work may include painting, landscaping, trailering refuse or equipment, general clean-up of buildings, properties, and grounds. Empties guest trash and haul receptacles to the local landfill; maintain mobile trash bins to ensure scheduled removal. Operates and drives light vehicles, lawn mowers, and other machinery. Performs light maintenance and repairs on vehicles such as oil change, tire rotation, battery charging, etc. Must keep work areas and company vehicles clean, organized, and well maintained. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Prior general property maintenance experience preferred. This may include basic or advanced; plumbing, electrical, cooling, heating, gas stoves, water heaters, carpentry, siding, roofing, power & hand tools, and other building components. Must have own tools. (basic or advanced) Must be willing and able to pass pool certification course. Must be able to perform physically repetitive tasks in a hot climate. Must have a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to work an 8+ hour shift of walking, bending, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. High School graduate or GED. Must submit to and pass a criminal background check.
