Perform routine daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner to assist in maintaining guest rooms, public restrooms, and public areas of the hotel, including carrying large loads of linens, stocking linen closets, and maintaining guest rooms. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Collect dirty linens, large bags, and garbage, and carry to designated location Use Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP) trainingand PPE provided to properly clean up BBP spills or hazards Stock and organize linen closets with clean linens and supplies throughout the day Report needed repairs and turn in lost & found items to housekeeping management Assist housekeepers in rooms with cleaning when needed Maintain guest areas to Rainier Guest Services standards Performs such other related duties as directed or required SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Repetitive motions such as bending, squeezing, lifting, carrying, reaching/extending arms and hands above shoulder height frequently Lift, carry, and push up to 10 lbs. regularly, 15-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 30 lbs. occasionally Able to stand for extended periods Climb flights of stairs regularly Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of co-workers and the ability to speak clearly to be understood by same in English Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties EQUIPMENT USED Housekeeping cart, variety of cleaning chemicals and supplies, vacuum cleaner, guest linens, laundry bags
