Kid's Wrangler

Kid’s Wranglers lead our structured children’s horse program, creating safe, fun, and memorable experiences for young kids and teens visiting the Ranch. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in early childhood development or elementary education, paired with extensive horse experience. A genuine love for children—and the patience to work closely with them—is essential. This role calls for someone outgoing, energetic, creative, and positive, with the ability to plan and lead horse-related activities. When no children are on-site, this position supports other ranch operations as needed. Additional responsibilities include helping with meal service, such as serving guests and clearing tables. On Saturdays, after guests depart, all staff work together to clean the Ranch—from cabins to barn. Other tasks may include yard work, painting, assisting with trail rides, and general ranch upkeep. Flexibility and teamwork are key; everyone pitches in wherever needed. Barn duties may include gathering, feeding, saddling, and preparing horses; caring for sick or injured horses; maintaining and repairing tack; and keeping the barn, corrals, arena, trails, and grounds clean and safe. Wranglers also help with weekly gymkhana games, ranch entertainment, and bring a great sense of humor to the team.
