About This Role
Kennolyn Huntington Lake Aquatics Staff must have previous experience in kayaking, canoeing or Standup Paddleboarding and be competent and confident in open water to pass the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course prior to camp starting in July. Aquatic staff are both cabin counselors and instructors in their area of expertise Responsibilities include teaching 90-minute lessons, maintaining the waterfront area and equipment, and assisting with all waterfront-themed activities. Staff collaborate with a team of counselors to create a positive, inclusive environment while modeling safe and professional waterfront practices, responsibility, and respect. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about waterfront activities, outdoor education, and creating memorable experiences for children between the ages of 12 and 17 in a supportive summer camp community.
