The Outlaw Saloon, a full-service bar and grill featuring a unique “grill your own steakhouse” experience, is seeking motivated and skilled Line Cooks to join our family-owned and operated team. Position Overview: As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing food that meets our management's high standards. Your commitment to quality and customer satisfaction will directly contribute to the overall success of our operations. Key Responsibilities: Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Prepare ingredients for service such as chopping vegetables, smoking meats, and preparing sauces. Cook menu items efficiently and accurately, coordinating with front-of-house staff. Follow direction from the Operations Manager and report any issues. Monitor inventory levels and restock as necessary. Ensure food is prepared and presented simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timeliness. Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with both coworkers and customers. Wash dishes, including customer plates and kitchen equipment, nightly. Provide recommendations to guests participating in our grill-your-own steak dining option. Requirements: Proven cooking experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook. Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Familiarity with maintaining inventory levels, especially in a rural setting with limited deliveries.
