Line Cook

Seeking Masters of Flavor, AKA Line Cooks! Are you a natural leader, but get bored easily? Have you always loved working in fast-paced, high-energy environments? Does the sound of working in a high-elevation kitchen with a kick-ass team and getting to flex your creative muscles pique your interest? You might want to consider being a line cook at Silver City Mountain Resort! Our kitchen is "tiny but mighty" and everyone must work together to get the job done- that means you may be prepping food, cooking on the line, or executing a special for the evening service. Goal : To prepare and execute delicious culinary experiences for our guests, to keep the kitchen staff motivated and excited to work, to work closely with the head cook to keep the kitchen functioning well, and to keep the kitchen in tip-top shape. Skills required : Natural leadership skills, basic cooking skills, kitchen management, food prep and storage, kitchen sanitation and safety, consistent food quality control, a keen eye to detail, good work ethic, works well under pressure, and a team player. Has high energy, is a self-starter, and has an ability to get the servers excited about what is on the plate. The cook sets the tone of the kitchen, and we like to have as much fun as possible- even if we are pushed in a rush! You must have a strong work ethic, be low drama, and enjoy the outdoors! (Wage negotiable based on experience)
