Line/Prep Cook

At Lava Mountain Lodge, we believe great food is an essential part of the guest experience. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Full Time Line/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in preparing quality meals, thrives in a team environment, and enjoys the energy of a hospitality setting. Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to lodge recipes and standards. Cook and plate dishes on the line during service hours. Ensure food is properly stored, rotated, and labeled to maintain freshness and safety. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and equipment. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Assist with dish washing and general kitchen duties as needed. Support the chef and kitchen team with daily tasks and special events. Qualifications: Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred, but not required (training available). Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety standards. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
