Parasail/Tiki Cruise First Mate

This is a high-energy, people-focused position working alongside our captains on both the tiki charter vessel ( Calypso ) and the parasail boat. If you’re outgoing, gregarious, and love being around people, this is a role where personality truly matters. On the Tiki Boat The mate helps set the entire tone of the trip. You’ll greet guests, help them board, handle lines and safety briefings, serve drinks on adult-oriented cruises, and keep the atmosphere upbeat and organized. On family cruises, you might be engaging kids, making up games, or simply making sure everyone is relaxed and having a great time. Tiki Mate Responsibilities: Assisting captain with docking, lines, and vessel readiness Greeting guests and helping them get settled on board Delivering safety briefings Serving drinks and maintaining a fun, welcoming atmosphere Engaging families and entertaining kids on family cruises Helping create an energetic, memorable experience for guests Keeping the vessel clean and organized between trips On the Parasail Boat The parasail mate works closely with the captain managing gear, assisting guests, and keeping trips running safely and efficiently while maintaining a fun, relaxed environment. Parasail Mate Responsibilities: Assisting captain with docking and vessel readiness Inflating and deflating parachutes Helping guests into harnesses and safety gear Giving clear instructions and safety guidance Assisting with launches and landings Taking photos and helping with photo/video sales Keeping gear and vessel clean, organized, and ready This is a physical job with long days in the sun. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and comfort speaking to groups are essential. We will train the right candidate. Prior experience with parasailing, boating, customer service, bartending, hospitality, or photography is a plus.
