What You’ll Do As a Rental Clerk , your role is to create a welcoming and seamless experience for our guests as they prepare for a day on the slopes. You'll be assisting guests in selecting the right boots, skis, or snowboards tailored to their specific needs based on factors like height, weight, and skill level. In addition to ensuring that the paperwork is complete, you'll handle equipment with care when it's returned and ensure that cash transactions are managed accurately. Your responsibilities will include: Greet guests with a smile and a professional demeanor as they arrive. Help guests choose the right-sized boots, skis, and snowboards based on height, weight, and skill level. Calculate binding tensions and pole lengths to ensure a comfortable fit. Present rental agreements, address guest questions, and ensure the completion of all necessary documents. Handle returned equipment with care, checking for any damage or issues. Accurately count cash and prepare it for bank deposits. Operate our point-of-sale system, make change, and reconcile at the end of your shift.
