Rental Manager

We are seeking a full-time seasonal Bike Rental Manager for our on-site bike location in Bar Harbor, ME - starting April 20, 2026 . The Bike Rental Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the rental department, including managing bike inventory, processing rentals, coordinating bike maintenance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves handling our on-line rental system, training staff on rental procedures, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally when the rental. We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications: Professional - Maintains a professional appearance at all times with quality customer service in a fast-paced environment as well as representing the company with a positive attitude Personable - Strong Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Interpersonal Skills Experience - Experience in Rental Management (is a plus) as well as POS systems, including rental software and will manage the daily rental operations, including scheduling and task delegation of rental staff Communicator - Has excellent organizational and communication skills working with customers as well as the Rental Staff Leader - Has strong problem-solving and leadership skills to manage a team efficiently, i.e., training of new/returning rental staff on all procedures, safety protocols and customer service standards Bike Knowledge - Possesses a strong knowledge of bikes as well as the outdoors, exploring nature and sharing that joy with others is a plus
