About This Role
The Rentals Manager oversees the day to day raft rentals reservations. This includes management andย logistics of loading, delivering, returning and unloading the raft orders of the day. We service 100 miles of the Lower Deschutes River, delivering and picking up rafts and gear to our customers for day and overnight trips. The position requires collaboration with DRA owners and office staff to ensure a smooth and safe work day and to provide for an amazing and friendly guest experience every day. A successful river manager understands the DRA staffโs strengths and limitations, and effectively delegates roles accordingly to help day to day operations run efficiently, including sometimes assisting with the coordination of our guided operations. As a manager he or she will foster professionalism amongst staff and work to provide a positive and supportive work environment. Culture is everything, and we work hard to maintain a great one every season. The ideal candidate will excel at being friendly, flexible, organized, hardworking, honest and able to think critically. Job duties: Load and deliver inflatable rafts, oars, frames and gear. Often lifting 60+lbs. Driving and backing up with trailers Manage gear inventory and maintenance Provides advice, assistance, and generally acts as a resource for other rentals associates on roles and responsibilities Be responsible for the care and maintenance of all DRA equipment, including overseeing raft repairs. Keep raft shop clean and organized Help keep vehicles and trailers in clean, running order Minimum Qualifications: Valid Driverโs License Clean driving record Knowledge of trailer driving 21 y/o or older Previous lead, supervisory or manager role Previous guiding or river knowledge preferred, but not required.
