What You’ll Do As a Retail Clerk , you’ll provide customer service in the Resort's five retail outlets: Alyeska Mountain Shop, Sundry Shop, Glacier Gifts and Gallery, Sitzmark, and Max’s and play a vital role in ensuring a pleasant and safe experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include: Assist guests in locating merchandise. Possess a functional knowledge of outlet's products and inventory. Operate point of sale system, making change, reconciling cash/credit at close of shift. Restock, price, and merchandise product. Maintain a clean shop. Inventory and shipping. Other duties as assigned. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
