Retail Manager

The Retail Manager is responsible and accountable for the successful operation of the Retail Store at the Company ensuring sales goals are met, inventory levels are appropriate, receiving is handled in a timely and accurate manner and all customer service standards are met in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Provide leadership within the retail and receiving environment to maintain the consistent delivery of excellent products & services and uphold the highest level of guest and employee satisfaction Maximize financial performance and profit within the retail stores by supporting and executing the business plan with a focus on fiscal responsibility, effective employee recruitment, hiring and training and meeting the highest standards of quality Provide timely and accurate financial retail reports, on a weekly basis, for senior management that clearly explain the operational effectiveness, trends and forecasts Ensure all retail staff is trained, motivated and empowered to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Coaching and mentoring of employees should occur daily. Regularly evaluate product performance and initiate modifications in conjunction with General Manager and HQ Director of Retail Operations Assist General Manager and HQ Director of Retail Operations to develop and implement targeted plans to meet key performance metrics. Assist the Receiver/Warehouse staff to ensure 100% accurate and timely receiving of all merchandise for the gift store by Responsible for employee timekeeping and payroll accuracy. Position Requirements: Must possess strong leadership and managerial skills that include the ability to coach, develop and clearly communicate expectations. Must have financial background with the proven ability to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and fiscal management.
