SUMMARY Anticipated start date is January 26, 2026. Clear snow from walkways, entrances, staircases, and public areas. Perform rooftop snow removal and ice dam removal. Identify and address overhead hazards in the Base area. Sand and chip ice from walkways and public areas as needed. Greet guests coming to Grand Targhee. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.      Arrive at work promptly and on time. 2.      Clear snow from walkways, entrances, and common areas using shovels, and snow blowers. 3.      Perform rooftop snow removal using required safety equipment. 4.      Perform rooftop ice damn removal using an ice dam steamer and other tools. 5.      Sand and chip ice in public areas where appropriate. 6.      Clear snow from critical infrastructure and facilities as needed. 7.      Identify and address overhead hazards in the Base area, including icicles, cornices, and roof slide areas. 8.      Assist with other duties as required. 9.      Exhibit a professional, courteous and friendly attitude at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY: Protect the safety of self, workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resort’s Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals. Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
