Position Summary The Sustainable Partnerships Manager advances Leave No Trace’s mission by building, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with corporate and tourism partners. This role develops, onboards, and manages partnerships at all levels, with a strong emphasis on long-term cultivation and strategic growth. Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, the Sustainable Partnerships Manager supports partner communications, oversees budgeted fundraising and engagement events, and plays a key role in advancing partnerships that promote responsible tourism and outdoor stewardship. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Position Details Title: Sustainable Partnerships Manager Reports to: Director of Partnerships Collaborates with: Deputy Director, Manager of Tourism, Marketing Manager, and Education Staff Status: Full-time (40 hours/week), Exempt Location: Boulder, CO (hybrid; minimum three days per week in office) Key Responsibilities Partnership & Program Support Execute partnership deliverables in collaboration with the Director of Partnerships and Manager of Tourism Partnerships, ensuring scopes of work and timelines are met. Support partnership development through outreach, follow-up, onboarding, and partner communications. Coordinate with Marketing and Communications to deliver campaigns, activations, trainings, and cleanups tied to partnership agreements. Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including reporting and communication tracking. Manage invoicing, billing, and financial tracking for partnerships and fundraising initiatives. Coordinate trade show participation and partner-facing events, including logistics, materials, presentations, and on-site engagement. Support implementation of DEIA-related partnership commitments outlined in operational plans. Account Management & Fundraising Execute fundraising and partnership strategies to meet and grow organizational revenue goals. Manage partner activations from planning through completion. Draft and edit customized partner communications and proposals. Communicate partner needs clearly to internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality fulfillment. Qualifications Required 3–5 years of experience in development, fundraising, sales, tourism, or a related field Strong relationship-building skills, both in-person and virtually Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience working collaboratively across teams Proficiency with CRM systems and reporting tools Passion for environmental conservation and Leave No Trace principles Preferred Proven success meeting fundraising or sales targets Experience creating and delivering customized partnership proposals Budgeting and financial tracking experience Familiarity with sustainability, CSR, and/or outdoor industry trends Experience coordinating corporate participation in events, campaigns, or trade shows Position Conditions Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, with reasonable accommodation available Minimum three days per week in the Boulder office Approximately 15% travel and 15% event support Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $55,000–$65,000 , depending on experience.
