Teen Leadership

Kennolyn Training Program Counselors mentor and motivate our oldest campers as they develop confidence, responsibility, and real‑world leadership skills. Staff in this role guide teens through hands‑on leadership workshops, team‑building challenges, and service‑oriented projects while modeling maturity, empathy, and strong communication. Responsibilities include facilitating group discussions, supporting teens as they practice leading camp activities, and helping them navigate the transition from camper to future staff member. Counselors collaborate closely with the leadership team to create a positive, inclusive environment where teens feel empowered to grow, take initiative, and discover their unique strengths. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about youth development, mentorship, and fostering meaningful growth experiences for young leaders in a supportive summer camp community.
