Camp Walt Whitman is a traditional, co-ed Summer camp in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. We are seeking general cabin counselors to work with our campers aged 8-15. For students pursuing ANY major - but especially those in the Psychology, Sociology, Education or sports fields, this is an incredible job to help you gain experience with child development, group & time management, conflict resolution, communication, leadership and more. We're specifically looking for individuals that have experience and desire to work with our teen program. Our 13–15-year-old campers do extraordinary things, and they need extraordinary role models. Our teens go on day hiking trips every week in the White Mountains in addition to backpacking and bike packing trips. They also do trips out of camp to Mass, Maine, and Canada. Dates: June 16th – August 9th, 2023 Salary + travel stipend + room & board provided. *Internship opportunities available - just ask so we can work with your school to match internship criteria! *Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.
