About This Role
This position is for someone with confident driving skills who want to spend the entire day outdoors at the river. Arrive early each morning and help the guides gather gear for the day and secure the rafts to their trailer. Drive your crew 25 miles to the river put in and get set up for the first trip. When guests arrive help outfit them with life jackets, paddles, etc and get them launched on the river. While they are on the river you have some downtime to take a little hike or fish. When it's time you'll drive the van/trailer down to the ramp to collect the rafts and gear & guides. You'll head back to the put-in and start the process again. This job is physical at times, helping lift and move rafts, loading the trailer, running safety during high water, and generally being on your feet. The ideal candidate has a valid drivers license, is a careful conscientious driver without moving violations in the last two years, who is comfortable driving a larger (15 passenger type) van with a trailer. No experience is required, we will train you for the skills necessary.
